House notes

Spanish or English at the door, and other languages on the page

The page can be read in Spanish, English, German, Italian, or French. At the door the team speaks Spanish or English. Those are two different facts, and both travel with every visit.

Elite Chicas Cleaning asks for the page language and, separately, the door language. The door only accepts Spanish or English. German, Italian, and French are for reading and for requesting. They do not describe how the team speaks.

Why there are five pages and two door languages

La Paz gets people who read in more than one language. Someone can fill the form in German and still want Spanish, or English, spoken in the house. If we mix those two things, the confirmation goes out in one language and the person who opens the door expects another. The form will not send a visit without that second answer.

The card the team sees is in Spanish. It carries the door language in writing, so nobody has to guess it on arrival. The confirmation that comes back to you is in the language of the page you used.

Reading the page in French does not put French at the door. The door question is still there, and it has only two answers.

How it is chosen

The page language is the language of the URL: the root in Spanish, /en, /de, /it, or /fr. The door language is a form field, required, with two options. If the page is German and you skip the door, the request does not send. There is no hidden default.

  1. Read the page in the language that works for you.
  2. On the form, choose Spanish or English for the door.
  3. The rest of the visit, band, block, and colonia, stays the same.
  4. Confirmation comes back in the page language.
  5. The team reads the card in Spanish, with the door language written on it.
Fact Value What it is
Page languages 5 Spanish, English, German, Italian, French
Door languages 2 Spanish or English
Field Required Without it the window is not held
Page Door
Spanish Yes Yes
English Yes Yes
German, Italian, French Yes, for reading and requesting No
  • Do not assume the page language is the door language
  • Answer both questions
  • Say if the door language changes on a later visit
  • Do not ask for German, Italian, or French in the house

Five languages to read. Two to open the door. The sentence is a rule, not a slogan.

The hours do not change with the language. They stay Monday to Saturday, morning or afternoon, La Paz time. The schedule and the first visit use the same pair of fields.

What each person sees

The person filling the form sees labels in the page language. In German, Italian, or French those labels say the door is a separate field, with two options, Spanish or English. There is no third box. If someone writes “French at the door” in the notes, the confirmation corrects it: the door language is the one chosen in the field, not the note.

The crew does not receive the German paragraph. They receive a card in Spanish with two marks: the page language and the door language. The second is what is spoken in the house. The first only explains which language a message should use if one is needed. Nobody has to translate the visit list. The list is the same.

Changing the door language in the middle of a series is done with a message, not in a rush on the threshold. The next confirmation carries the new language. Until that confirmation goes out, the previous one still stands. That way there are not two versions on the same Tuesday.
