Dust after a north wind in La Paz
A north wind in La Paz pushes fine dust through the gaps. The next day the tile looks dirty even if nobody tracked in mud. If the maintenance visit already happened, that dust stays until the next week or the next quincena.
Elite Chicas Cleaning does not invent an emergency visit for a north wind. The dust belongs on the maintenance list: sweep and mop the tile. If you want the day sooner, you book another window, with 24 hours of notice.
What the wind leaves
North-wind dust is not mud. La Paz is dry most of the year. Real rain comes with tropical systems, from May through November, and it is not the weekly problem. The weekly problem is dust on tile. You see it in the hall, under the bed, and in the slider track. A cloth on the furniture does not take it off the floor. That is why maintenance starts with a sweep and a mop, not with a scent.
Centro shows it the same way Fidepaz or El Zacatal does. What changes is how open the house is to the lot, not the kind of work. We do not promise to arrive the same day as the wind. The calendar is morning or afternoon, Monday to Saturday.
What it is not
It is not rug or sofa washing. Other businesses publish that work, with a shop. We do not offer it. It is also not a construction clean. Plaster and job-site dust are not this visit. If the wind only dirtied a lived-in house, maintenance is the right job. If there is construction, say so. We will not confirm that job.
Keep the calendar split. A north wind is dry-season dust. Salt on the glass is the other soil, and it lives on the glass add-on. Putting both in one soft sentence does not clean either.
How to move the visit
If the wind hit on Tuesday and your quincena is Friday, you usually wait until Friday. If you cannot look at the floor that long, ask for a new window. That needs 24 hours. There is no Sunday route. Confirmation comes before anyone leaves.
- Say it was a north wind, not a construction site.
- Say whether you will wait for the visit already booked or move it up.
- Pick morning or afternoon.
- Do not ask for rugs or sofas.
- Confirm when we answer.
| Fact | Value | What it is |
|---|---|---|
| Notice to move a visit up | 24 h | Maintenance scheduling rule |
| Sunday | No route | Not open |
| Rugs | No | Off the menu |
| After a north wind | After construction | |
|---|---|---|
| Maintenance | Yes, if the house is lived in | No |
| Same week, with notice | Yes, if a window is open | Not confirmed |
| Sofa steam | No | No |
- Say north wind, not “deep clean”
- Do not expect the same day
- Check whether the glass also needs the add-on
- Keep the quincena day if you can wait
The house gets mopped. It does not get a scent to cover the dust. That is an internal standard, not a review.
If the floor still looks gray after a maintenance visit, say so on the next note. You do not need a dramatic word. Say which room shows it, and whether you open the doors to the lot. That is enough to decide whether the next visit stays in the same band or the house needs to be seen again.
What gets written down when the dust is back the next day
If the north wind blew after the visit, the entry floor has a fine film again. That does not cancel the visit. The weekly or quincena series exists because the desert does not wait for the next season. The house note says whether the front door faces the wind, because that strip is mopped last, not first. Mopping it first only sticks the dust to the crew’s shoes and walks it down the hall.
A floor that looks the same at dawn is not the promise. The list is the promise: sweep, mop the hard floor, lift the dust that can be reached without a ladder, and empty the bin if the outdoor container is on the property. A high window frame stays. If the dust on that frame matters, it is said beforehand, and we look at whether it fits as extra time inside the block. If it does not fit, it stays out of the confirmation.
Construction stays out. Plaster dust, tile-cutting dust, or dust from an open wall is not this wind. If that dust is visible on arrival, the visit stops and we say so. It is not dressed up as maintenance.
